"A poet is a nightingale, who sits in darkness and sings to cheer its own solitude with sweet sounds." -- Percy Bysshe Shelley
Cooking is so therapeutic for the mind. To be focusing your full attention upon a vegetable in one hand, a razer-sharp chopping blade in the other, and the marriage of the two which results in a finer, more evenly distributed substance is simply calming. To have your thoughts stolen by the quality of ingredients - the textures, the vibrant colors, the scents - and to be able to layer the distinct flavors of each remains gratifying each instance you cook. #thejoyofcooking #anyonecancook
